New $8 RoonBridge (NanoPi Neo)?

Recommended Posts

This thing looks pretty cool. I don't know if it could actually run RoonBridge, but it supports Ubuntu Linux. My only hesitation would be if the USB and Ethernet ports share a bus. Will have to get one to test.

More info: World’s smallest quad-core Linux SBC starts at $8

Purchase: NanoPi NEO

Ordered one as well. I doubt RoonBridge can be installed, but squeezelite should not be a problem.

It also has a line out on one of the headers, so this could be a low cost solution to play music around the house, connected to small desktop speakers, for example.

Curious the find out how it sounds...
