The Computer Audiophile
This thing looks pretty cool. I don't know if it could actually run RoonBridge, but it supports Ubuntu Linux. My only hesitation would be if the USB and Ethernet ports share a bus. Will have to get one to test. Qhwoeprktiyns
Ordered one as well. I doubt RoonBridge can be installed, but squeezelite should not be a problem. It also has a line out on one of the headers, so this could be a low cost solution to play music around the house, connected to small desktop speakers, for example. Curious the find out how it sounds... Link to comment

mjb
Chris, don't forget to add a linear power supply, usb re-clocker, and network isolation (at the very least) before making any audio assessments ;-) Link to comment

Qhwoeprktiyns
Line out works ok - tried it on headphones and small desktop speakers. Perfectly acceptable sound quality... My main rig is not operational right now so I look forward to hearing from others how the USB output sounds. Link to comment

musicfan145
NanoPi Air? Does the wifi run on a separate bus from the USB? Is there a distro that will allow it to run as a Roon endpoint? Link to comment
musicfan145
Anyone tried the NanoHat PCM5102A DAC? For $10, I wouldn't expect much, but if it would work as a Roon enpoint, it might be pretty great for a low-fi zone. NanoHat PCM5102A [h=1][/h] Link to comment
