Ok, I’ll put in my request for a feature that most people don’t need, but I’d love it. Heck, if we don’t as, we won’t receive. 
 

I’d love a large overlay of the volume level when adjusting the my constellation preamp through conductor. If you look at this screenshot, and consider where your thumb is when turning the volume up in the lower left corner, you notice that you can’t see the current level. My left thumb completely covers the number. A pop up overlay with large numbers or something else would be great.

When an Aurender is connected to a Constellation Audio preamp, Conductor can control its analog volume and input select. It’s slick!

it’s a better and bigger interface, but it lacks the convenience of my iPhone which basically never leaves my side:)
 

It really is great. 
 

If components have RS232 ports or accept this communication over USB, then it’s possible if Aurender enables it.

Hi Guys, I can't get the Aurender upsampling to work. I'm using a USB DAC and have 4x upsampling turned on. Any ideas?

I thought I remember seeing that, but looked on this page of the Conductor app and didn't see anything that said so, so I assumed it would just work.

I'm no packaging expert, but I've never seen poor packaging result in loose screws like that. Crazy.

Here's one that really annoys about Aurender Conductor. Overall I like the app very much, but autocorrect in the search field is a nightmare. 90% of the time when I search for an artist, I type in a few letters of the name, then I see the picture popup and I tap on the picture rather than type the entire name. it only makes sense and is why the search has real time results appear as we type. 

 

However, as soon as I tap on an artist photo, autocorrect takes over and corrects the artist name in the search box, thus changing the photos that appear below because the autocorrected word is far different from the name. 

 

The example from this morning is artist Ani Difranco. I typed in "Ani Di" without quotes obviously, saw her photo appear below, tried to tap on it, then autocorrect changed the name in the search box to "Ani Do" and her photo was moved. In this example, I could still see her photo and just tap on it a bit lower, but with other searches, the autocorrect completely changes everything and the name of the artist isn't even close. 

 

Is there a way to disable autocorrect in the Conductor app?

I would love to have the option to sort my local albums on the Aurender by Date Added. This is really convenient for finding one's newest content and it creates a nice way to see a music collection develop over time.

Perhaps switching to the lower tier of Qobuz may be the solution? 
I also recall that Spotify and Apple Music are either now or very soon going to be offering a new tier which will be 16/44 only? 

Qobuz has pure PCM, except for the 2L label that went all-in on MQA.

I'm listening to the track "Die For Me" by Post Malone. There are two guests artist on the track and I'd love it if Aurender Conductor enabled me to see who these artists are. I know one is the singer Halsey because I switched to a different app that displayed this info. The info is available from Qobuz.

I certainly hear you, but I love options. If a consumer can get educated a little bit about the models, he has a great opportunity to purchase one that fits his needs better, because of the number of models. 

 

I'm not discounting those who are overwhelmed or confused by the number of models though. I eat, sleep, and breathe this stuff, so I'm in a strange boat :~)

all cables are audioquest diamond

 

so same music, the Roon has more punch and a greater range, same soundstage

 

aurender seems smoother but duller.

Try the same interface on both devices. I’m guessing you use USB from the MacBook Pro. Use USB from the Aurender to test.

If anyone is interested in using convolution and/or upsampling in HQPlayer with Aurender, like I am, here's an article I jus published on how to do it.

Anyone know which version of SMB Aurender ACS10 uses (SMB 1, 2, 2.1, 3 ...)?

 

I'm getting a message on a Linux machine that connects to it and I'm not sure which version I may need to specify.
