Any thoughts on their recording of Mozart's Requiem?

Mackerras is great for Mozart in general, for example this one is amazing and my favorite version of the late symphonies:

The requiem is ok, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it. To my ear, it lacks the necessary drama and weight.
