AFAIK, not too close ... but that always depends on the personal definition of "high end". Link to comment

He started out providing parts and then drivers for Klipschorn speakers and now has kits and drivers that you can build yourself. I restored a pair of Klipschorn's dating back to 1976 and got all my parts from him. https://critesspeakers.com/crites-speakers.html There are a number of builds to choose from, from a monitor type to a full floorstander.
