I’ve followed all this and have set the CX+EX accordingly.

I then followed the HQPlayer video which looks straight forward enough. The only thing the narrator doesn’t go into is which remote app to use leaving that to the user. Irrelevant of this, I am not successful in setting HQPlayer up even though the video makes it look simple.

It’s very frustrating and I’m not sure how much more of this software fiddling I can put up with.

Then you should have the library containing the nas share, isn’t it?

If yes, going to HQPe Library configuration, which choices do you have in the Path drop down window?

@Kage …. if you don’t have any choice in the Path just try to type

/storage/music

this is the location showed in the video and if you have replicated exactly the same configuration you should be ok

clicking on Apply should now allow HQPe to load the library

You can use HQPDcontrol v4, it works fine and it’s free and available for iOS/iPadOS and Android

I have the app ready and waiting on my iphone.

 

I have no drop down option on the path field and I have just tried '/storage/music'. Nothing happening.
