jmmbarco
Hi guys! I want to give this setup a try, it seems very promising! 😃 However, I am getting defender alerts (Win32/Uwamson.A!ml and Win32/Skeeyah) when downloading Win10XPE_2021-10-27.7z from any of the links provided. They do not seem to be false positives so do not know how to proceed. Any idea??? Thanks in advance! Link to comment

Do you have a more recent guide? First of all, the bulk of the work should be done by both @samotc and @internethandle to begin with. All I did was merely sharing links to other sites to forums with anything that might be useful for further improvements etc. It might seem to be somewhat challenging for those of us who are just getting started, though it's definitely easier for you since you're only running foo_pggb_rt + foo_out_upnp with 64-bit version of foobar2000. That's gonna be completely portable and therefore you wouldn't have to worry about any registry keys at all. More importantly, most likely you don't even have to deal with any device drivers and that's pretty much like a piece of cake if you ask me. (A dedicated machine for testing purposes should be highly recommended here, then it's gonna be no biggie if there were anything wrong.) Now let's get the ball rolling by downloading a copy of this ISO image http://jplay.eu/forum/index.php?/topic/4410-windows-11-pe-audiophile-creation-guide/?p=62710 Quote Hello everyone, I have finally been able to add functional SysWOW64 to PE Ultralite, I have succeeded as soon as I have had access to the Winre.wim of version 22000.1 of Windows 11 that seeteeyou provided (thanks!) at this address: https://archive.org/download/windows-11-build-22000.1/Windows%2011%20build%2022000.1.iso To make sure that's downloaded without any problems whatsoever, please verify its SHA-1 checksum as shown below 304375b0b825720c30bf3366a5b49e88a7f71d13 *Windows 11 build 22000.1.iso Usually I would launch 7-Zip first, then go find that Windows 11 build 22000.1.iso file and right-click it afterwards. Select the option CRC and followed by SHA-1 FYI - here's the portable version of 7-Zip https://downloads.sourceforge.net/portableapps/7-ZipPortable_23.01.paf.exe Alternatively, check them out and then and that particular option to the Context (i.e. right-click) Menu instead https://windowsloop.com/how-to-add-7-zip-to-right-click-menu/ https://howardsimpson.blogspot.com/2022/01/quickly-create-checksum-in-windows.html Sometimes it might take quite a bit of time to download that ISO image mentioned above, therefore we could learn more about what the next step is. Basically it's pretty much like what I mentioned here http://jplay.eu/forum/index.php?/topic/4410-windows-11-pe-audiophile-creation-guide/?p=63183 Get a copy of this file Make_WinPE_Trusted-44-E.zip first https://github.com/wimbrts/Make_WinPE/releases/download/4.4/Make_WinPE_Trusted-44-E.zip Then extract yet another file Make_WinPE_Trusted-44.zip with the following password afterwards, only 8 lowercase letters in a row without anything (null spaces etc.) after the very last character b bootwimb Extract everything inside the file Make_WinPE_Trusted-44.zip and then we should be good to go. FYI - we could learn more about Make_WinPE by reading these forum threads https://reboot.pro/index.php?showtopic=22608 https://msfn.org/board/topic/183451-make_winpe-boot-and-make-pe-wim-file-from-x64-windows-iso/ Let's get that ISO image Windows 11 build 22000.1.iso mounted after verifying its checksum, it's pretty straightforward as shown below https://www.windowscentral.com/how-mount-or-unmount-iso-images-windows-10 If that particular Mount option were somehow missing in action, we could get it back easily https://piped.video/watch?v=AT8_zhwNqFw Head back to the folder where Make_WinPE was extracted and find that file called Make_WinPE_Trusted.cmd afterwards. Right-click Make_WinPE_Trusted.cmd and choose the option Run as administrator accordingly. Then it's very similar to what what we've got in the following picture, the path right under WIM File in sources should point to where Windows 11 build 22000.1.iso was mounted. R:\sources\install.wim is merely an example and we've gotta change the drive letter R to whatever we have on our end. The option WinPE Size could be LARGE / MEDIUM / SMALL while either MEDIUM or SMALL should be fine for now. The option Boot Drive could be changed to C: since we'll still boot off our existing SSD. The option WinPE Drive could be changed to C:\WinPE before hitting that Make PE button. Finally we should end up with that file C:\WinPE\PE_22000_US_M.wim (i.e. the MEDIUM option) or C:\WinPE\PE_22000_US_S.wim (i.e. the SMALL option) if everything were OK. After going through all the steps mentioned above, we'll check this out again http://jplay.eu/forum/index.php?/topic/4410-windows-11-pe-audiophile-creation-guide/?p=63183 Get the latest version of System Informer here https://github.com/winsiderss/si-builds/releases Or try another one if that weren't working for you https://web.archive.org/web/20230324094252/http://www.paehl.com/?System_informer https://mega.nz/folder/qpByXbqb#0JIwuXtiECpckMzXpht8WQ systeminformer-build-bin.zip SHA256: 7D63559034A0FCEA48EF918A694D4F00EB665871B154E3A795107BAEDBE2C48D Pick a specific option that's being created before and that's all Please let us know if you're having any issues with network connections and we'll get your Ethernet driver sorted out. 64-bit version of foobar2000 is available here https://www.foobar2000.org/download Remember to select the right option as follows Alternatively, a portable version could be found here https://www.videohelp.com/software/foobar2000 The latest version of foo_pggb_rt is available here https://audiophilestyle.com/forums/topic/67879-foo_pggb_rt-a-free-real-time-upsampler-for-foobar2000-64-bit-using-pggb/page/2/#comment-1255585 Since we might also need to take care of this one https://www.remastero.com/foo-pggb-rt-guide.html Quote You may also need x64 VC++ redistributable (if it is not installed), if the component does not work, grab and install from here. We'll get the latest version here https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist/releases For instance, we could download a copy of VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist/releases/download/v0.76.0/VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe Let's extract everything (with 7-Zip etc.) inside the folder called 2022\x64\System64 first, then copy all of them to the folder X:\Windows\System32 and we're done.
