mansr
Do you presently find the sound lacking? What do you hope to achieve from a new cable? I get the impression your current cable isn't broken. Those headphones have a moderately high impedance of 250 Ω, so effects of cable losses should be minimal. Speedskater 1 Link to comment
Popular Post mansr
My opinion is that any well-behaved cable with sufficiently low resistance will be fine. You may of course wish to swap for a longer/shorter or thicker/thinner cable to suit your personal needs, but that should not affect the sound. The one aspect that may in some cases make a difference is using a 4-wire cable with completely separate left and right pairs rather than a 3-wire design where left and right share a common ground wire. The shared wire can cause a little crosstalk, though it is questionable how audible that would be under typical conditions. Regardless, your headphones have a 3-pin connector, so this is not an option for you anyway. If you're not unhappy with the sound you're getting, my advice is not to worry and spend the money on some music instead. Teresa and crenca 2 Link to comment
