I was once bitten by a burmese python. Must've thought my foot was a rat. All those teeth/ points of contact, and tremendous grip. The effect on my nervous system was not subtle.

That's interesting. I found that simply passing cable choice off as entirely based on "belief systems" was rather inadequate.
