Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst: Polyphonic Study #6, Variations on "The Last Rose of Summer"

Midori, Live at Carnegie Hall

Remarkable and difficult! Never heard it before. Thanks.

More like a concert of the day:

Paolo Pandolfo and Amélie Chemin, violas da gamba

Violas in dialogue: works of Hume, F. Couperin, J. de Sainte-Colombe, JS Bach and C. Schaffrath

It's one of the most difficult piece in the violin repertoire now. Seeing how it's done highlights just how difficult it is.

Just watched the Sainte-Colombe Tomdeau Les Regrets. Beautiful. Song of the Day:

Tielman Susato/Josquin des Prez: Mille Regretz

Bruce Dickey, Hanneke van Proosdij
