Black, in pristine condition, shipped well-protected in original box. Why would I be selling these near-new KEF LS50 speakers? Doesn't everyone say they sound wonderful? They do, but for greater details about my reasons, see the Backstory below. Price = $1250, plus shipping Dave, who says his opinion of the KEF LS50s is still very high but they need to be on stands away from walls and the setup in his home did not allow for either BACKSTORY: This pair of speakers is near-new, and while they sound wonderful, they are (or were) in my secondary system, Main Alt -- see my signature below -- and that system is constrained by space. Because our Main Alt system is in the bedroom, I could only put the LS50s on a wooden dresser close to a wall, and even with audio pads underneath, that limited area meant the LS50s did not deliver the full high-quality audio joy they're capable of. But then I convinced my wife to let me put our old floorstanding speakers -- from Audio Physic -- in our bedroom. And by having speakers off the dresser and further away from the wall, the sound is better for me and for her, too. (I hear someone asking: "Why didn't you just put the KEFs on stands?" Because my wife doesn't like the way stands look, especially in the bedroom.) So, even though my KEF LS50s have barely been used, and I can imagine some other place in my life to use them, that's not happening soon. Hence this sale. And if I didn't tell anyone they were not actually new, it would be nearly impossible to tell. They were out on the dresser for about 4 to 5 months, and have no wear and tear externally or internally. Plus, I played only beautiful music on them. Considering all the reviews and all the positive comments here on CA, I am surprised that these haven't sold yet. If I wasn't spatially challenged, in a manner somewhat analogous with your situation, I'd "jump on this" (which on reflection this strikes me as unfortunate phrasing as any good editor will spy immediately).
