I would like to know before a few weeks if this is something worth taking a chance on myself. I'm flexible enough that if it sounds "pretty good" I won't have any complaints, but I would appreciate any comments now on the general signature as compared to other models you have heard. Bass stronger or weaker than any other models you know? Highs or sibilants stronger or weaker. I'm not looking for exact, just approximate. And I don't care about a burn-in factor.

It's a smooth sounding can. Nothing really jumps out at you which is a good thing because of listening fatigue. The pair I have has a balance issue. Right is a bit louder than the left. I contacted Focal about it and they suggest I burn it in (non-stop) for 50 hours and see if the issue persist. If it's still off, they will send out another pair. Their response was crazy fast, within 12 hours. That's crazy fast service.

I wonder how much of their speaker sound signature is carried over to the headphones?

 

If they've replicated some of that then I need some!!
