Audioseduction
Maybe we should have an off-topic forum... I think that would be a perfect a solution as I would also like to post off topic posts also. By the way, I like bikes but my wife won't let me have one. coolbreeze
My bike might actually qualify. Has sound system with radio/iPod/Bluetooth. Is this computer audiophile territory? Have never used the bikes stereo because it really needs Bluetooth connection to helmet. Prefer listening to my music at home. Bikes are for riding. CB Link to comment

dave_kiwi
Went through a prolonged stage (17 to 26) go owning motorbikes -- in excess of 10 :-). The three that stood out the most: Kawasaki MACH III (500 cc triple) 1970 -- using K&N Filters .. hehe mobile smoke cloud with drum brakes that were good for three pulls of the brake lever. Yamaha FJ1200 - 1988ish - last Japanase bike -- good for a genuine 220 km/h down the back straight of the airbase I was stationed on at the time. BMW R100RT - 1982 ex NSW Police Bike -- full monty with fairings. Certainly was the way to tour -- and i did my last ever long distance ride from Christchurch to Auckland on it (in NZ). Then I got older - felt the cold more -- and work demanded a car, so good by to the "bikes". Chip S
Yamaha 920 R that was built for Battle of the Twins roadingracing-Superbike was getting too expensive and fast--front wheel & rotors from a GSXR, rear wheel from a FZR600, rear brakes from a 750 ninja and nicely built engine. It was a hoot until the 996 (I think) Ducatti came along-great bike but it should not have been in the twins class it was clearly designed to dominate superbike. Anyway put lights back on and its been a fun streetbike since. She earned the name Gypsy after a Bob Seger tune on a long ride S out of Glacier National Park. I have looked at newer bikes but every spring on the first ride of the season... Chip Link to comment
