Everybody has something to offer whether it's a wealth of knowledge or stories about fumbling through this wonderful hobby of ours. Personal blog pages are only limited by a user's imagination (within reason of course). Some readers are experts on portable audio, linux based audio, or car computer audio while others are full of sage advice accumulated over several decades. All of this can currently be shared in the forums, but will be much more personal, easier to follow, easier to find, and a more enjoyable read when written in your own CA Blog.

Reading All Personal Blogs:
<ol><li>Select the BLOGS icon near the top of every page.</li></ol>
Reading Specific Personal Blogs:
<ol><li>Select a user's name anywhere on the site to view basic account information including a link to "View recent blog entries". See image below.</li>
<li>Select the user's Blog link below each of his/her blog articles to display only his/her blog entries.</li></ol>
Accessing Your Own Blog Page:
<ol><li>Select the BLOGS link from the left side navigation menu, then My Blog from the expanded menu.</li>
<li>Select My Account from the left side navigation menu, then ""View recent blog entries" from the main account page. See image below.</li></ol>

<b>Creating Blogs</b>
The Personal Blog infrastructure is already setup. User simply need to create Blog entries.
<ol><li>Select the BLOGS link from the left side navigation menu, then select "Create new blog entry" from the top of the main Blog page.</li>
<li>Select any user's Personal Blog, then select "Post new blog entry" from the top of the page. This will create an entry in your own Blog despite the link from another's Blog.</li></ol>
<b>Embedding Images In Blogs</b>
Computer Audiophile uses standard HTML syntax. For 99.999% of the Earth's population HTML is a four letter word with the connotation of those "other" four letter words. Here are some helpful tips.
You must either attach images using the Attachment feature available on each article, Blog Entry, and comment or host the images elsewhere such as any popular image hosting site of your choice. After attaching an image to your Blog Entry the URL of the image will be displayed directly below the attachment description.

To embed an image and place text to the right of the image use the following <b>bold</b> syntax that's next to the dummy text.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
To embed an image in an article use the following syntax.

<b>CA Personal Blog Launch</b>
This is the launch of CA Personal Blogs version 1.0. As the Blogs develop more features may be added based on user input. I can't wait to see what the CA readers have in store for their own Personal Blogs.
