Nothing like a real face and a real voice. And some Minnesota flavor. Good move!

I found it interesting but prefer reading your articles as I can absorb at my pace, skip to relevant spots and listen to music. BTW, thanks so much for helping me enjoy digital music as never before!

    Hey Chris!!

    Great video!

Could you show us your system and talk about a little bit in the video?

How about a demonstration on how you play music on your system. Say, you seat in your chair with your ipad and browse some music to play?

It was funny that you mentioned the Auralic Vega and you had it right next to you!

What do you anticipate the pace will be for you publishing these video features? Great idea!

Hi Selarom - Thanks for the kind words. I will certainly do a demo on my system and show people how I enjoy computer audio numerous ways.

My ultimate goal is once per week in addition to my written reviews. The videos aren't a replacement for any writing. I'm not sure I can hit this weekly goal but I'm going to try. Right now the post production is what's time consuming. I can record the episodes quickly but getting them to look nicer is the time consumer. I'm also working on some graphics and music and an actual intro.

Maybe a musical CA reader can create a CA theme song :~)

Funny that when I came to the site tonight I was thinking about how much I enjoyed your interview with John from Bel Canto and wished you had more video. Lo' and behold - here it is!

Love your writing but this is like getting to know you. Thanks for taking the time.

Chris, you look way less of a nerd than I always imagined you. This is neither a compliment nor a criticism, just an observation. Keep up the good work.

Chris, a video a week is a prodigious undertaking. I don't think Jude even does one a month for Head-Fi. I'm sure you've got some ideas stored up for the next few videos but once that backlog is caught up I expect you'll find that there's little material for weekly videos unless you end up doing product announcements(which is something that I think you wouldn't want to do too often).

    P.S.

    - You used to look like a lawyer(which, of course, you are). Now you look like a cab driver! ; )

    P.P.S.

    - I'd love to see occasional guest spots on CA Videos, like Barry Diament, wgscott or Eloise, for example.

Or... with that cap... a Yorkshireman...

Do you have a whippet and a ferret Chris?

    Eloise

PS. Will sit and watch the video when I have a change; not too keen on videos for reports unless they are something really special and actually tell something better by being visual than the written word does; but I will give it a chance.

I wish I had a whippet. I love those dogs. My favorite hats are Wigens. I can't get enough of them :~)
