This is an interesting product: clearly lifestyle, yet pitched to audiophiles. Claimed to be "audiophile" quality, and close to full range.

I got this for a second room, mainly for listening to music as background, news, internet radio, and sports. Not for intensive music listening.

Bought two because I got it from the Indiegogo crowd funding for half of retail, and b/c I figured with a pair it could be a "Backup" system if my main system ever isn't functioning.

Overall it seems well made and seems to function well.

    How does it sound?

Well in my setup they are placed in the corners of a medium sized room on end tables. Not ideal, and the bass is boomy and too big-overpowering in that situation.

I measured and adjusted them with room correction, and now they sound quite balanced - the boom is gone.

The good: pretty wide and deep soundstage for the the setup and kind of item they are. They don't sound "flat" dimensionally. Frequency measurements show they actually are flat down to about 60hz and roll off gradually, with usuable output down close to 30 hz before a big roll off really kicks in. Pretty impressive for such a device. Highs are not lacking, either. Detail is pretty good. And they can be quite loud. Nothing basic seems  to be missing. Definitely a cut above other portable, lifestyle, or BT speakers I've heard.

Your non-audiophile friends would probably be quite happy with them as a stereo and think they are all any one would need.

The bad: they are not "state of the art" or really "audiophile". Let's face it, each is a $300 "system". They are not going to sound like something costing 10 or 20 times  more. They sound pretty good, and they are pleasant to listen to. But: you don't get that "realness" or "fleshed out" sound that a good system gives you. For really critical music listening something is definitely lacking.

Bottom line: for a secondary device or for non-critical listening they are great, and a good deal. If you are thinking of something like a good sounding BT speaker, I'd consider them. And in a lot of use scenarios, I don't think you'd need two of them. One would do.

P.S. Forgot to mention above you have a choice of black, white, blue, and red grills to match your decor. WAF.
