This one is every bit as good as her previous work, but this time around it feels like she is doing less with more if that makes sense. Gary Paczosa behind the boards so the sound quality is extremely high. On sale this weekend at HDT. +1 I downloaded it yesterday and I have listened to it several times since. The "acoustic" songs are especially enjoyable. BTW, if you like Ms. Giddens, her Factory Girl EP and live album from the 2016 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival are also very good. Not to mention her work on the New Basement Tapes album. 2017 is shaping up to a wonderful year for new music for me with new albums from Alison Krauss and Rhiannon Giddens already released and another favorite artist (Valerie June) dropping an album in March.
