Personally, this is a great update as I am on the newest AMD hardware and makes a noticeable difference on my desktop with regards to responsiveness and smoothness. This is a great way to spend the time computing while waiting for 24.04 to be released with the 6.6 Kernel.

Thanks @AudioDoctor , I installed it but unfortunately VirtualBox doesn’t work anymore then I reverted back to the “official” 22.04 kernel.

W’ll see what happens with the official 22.04.4 release

6.6 is new LTS and I will eventually move to it. Currently my custom kernel is on earlier LTS which is 6.1.

Sorry about that. For me with my new AMD hardware, the newer kernels work the best. I have tried the 6.6 Kernel and it was a big improvement for me as far as smoothness and apparent speed of the computer, but I need to stay on the LTS kernels.

I am looking forward to the release of 24.04 and the 6.6 kernel.
