Advice on comparing speaker like Sonos with B&W, B&O, Klipsch etc.

Hi, I often listen to youtube reviews on speakers and enjoy listening to music at home etc. I'm considering purchasing a system. The reviews online often compare it seems within categories like B&O with Klipsch, Sonos with Bose etc... But I would like to really understand how systems compare such as a pair of Sonos Era 300 with a pair of KEF LS50 or Klipsch 9s etc. What about a pair of Sonos era 300 with a single B&O A9?

 

Would appreciate some expert guidance.

Please don't take this the wrong way, Dylanh, but what type of "system" are you interested in purchasing? 

 

The title of your thread suggests that you're looking at speakers, but your post has me scratching my head a bit.  🤔

You need to say what you want to use the system for, budget, etc.

While some reviews can be useful in making a short list—ones that talk about the music and the emotional connection to it, and have tastes similar to yours—the only way to know is to listen for yourself.

First you need to consider your budget.  Then you can determine which components you would like to include in your system.   

I doubt many members of this forum know what is available for purchase in South Africa.
