How To Mount And Automount External Hard Drive Ubuntu Server

You probably need to add a line to the /etc/fstab file to tell Ubuntu what, where and how to mount your external drive. That is what I did to mount my NAS.

Don't know how to do that  ? Do you have steps to do this ? I see drive /dev/sda1

Do a Google search, lots of examples online. That is how I learned.
