When using ASIO (directly or through NAA), leave "Buffer time" in HQPlayer to "Default". From ASIO driver's control panel (usually found from Windows System Tray), set buffer size to largest possible and with Thesycon driver "safest" setting. This helps reducing drop-outs and also gives lowest possible interrupt frequency from the hardware. What should I do if I am using NAA with Allo USB Bridge Signature Player instead? I hear pops when on PCM 768 with Sinc L Link to comment
blueninjasix
With USBridge Signature, I find RopieeeXL to be the best software to ensure no pops n clicks. It has the necessary asix ethernet driver already built in. And make sure that the buffer is high enough in HQPlayer settings. i5 7600 fanless pc running Ubuntu 22.04 and HQPlayer Desktop > Cisco switch > 10Gtek fibre network > Raspberry Pi4 HQPlayerNAA > IFi purifier 3 > SRC-DX > Chord Qutest > Jotunheim 2 preamplifier > Ncore monoblocks > KEF R5 speakers.
