Popular Post Miska
I was just about to post about this too, seeing the announcement on my Facebook feed. I hope the objective aspect brought in by JGH and more so by JA is not going to diminish. So far I've seen that the balance between subjective and objective in Stereophile and as well the now-brother publication Hifi-News (with PM) has been pretty good and I enjoy reading both. Been happy reader of both for Fairly Long Time(tm). Even though I don't agree with everything (especially regarding Stereophile's take on MQA). I hope JA and PM will be able to maintain their line. PowerCube measurements are really telling overall. It is surprising how much differences it shows between amplifiers. When you combine that with loudspeaker complex impedance / EPDR figures, no wonder there are some differences... Local hifi magazine here, as well as the one from our western neighbor Sweden, publishes PowerCube measurement results for amplifiers which is really nice. For loudspeakers they also publish group delay plots which is also nice. crenca 1 Signalyst - Developer of HQPlayer Pulse & Fidelity - Software Defined Amplifiers Link to comment
