No, sorry, I don't know daphile....but probably if you click on the 'i' in info....it will tell you something... ;)

So last night Lumin couldn't see the player again. Couldn't figure it out... Ran thru setup again... Which was all supposedly there... Gmedia render. When I executed that, popped right up. Had to see tonight... Yep, same thing. So, is there a way to keep that latched... Or permanent?

When you restart the system Gmediarender does not appear at the checkpoints?

When I restart the system, GP does not appear in Bubble up, so it isn't shown in Lumin. I have to execute gmedia configuration again for it to show... Soundcard/hw/auto/room. It pops up in bubble up and Lumin right after.

Yes... That all still shows enabled. When I ran through again, I executed that as well, only when I got to gmedia configure did it show, and right away.

Here you go. It shows, but will not show in Bubbleup, so then it does not show in Lumin. As soon as I execute GmediaRenderer, it pops right up in Bubble up and then Lumin

it is not possible to upgrade from the previous version.

a certain kind of library has been added, one of the things that allows you to do is load files into ram before they are processed by the player... it runs in the background even the play start.

supported players are:
moc
Logitechmediaserver+SqR2 (on the same pc)
Logitechmediaserver+Sq (on the same pc)
logitechmediaserver
Mpd
HQPlayer
and some Gstreamer-based players

Example configuration of GSTplayer2, which is nothing more than a pipeline of gstreamer:

Playlist play and playlist symply they only work if you have done a thorough scan (deep_scanning), but this is really time-consuming, especially on a low-power PC...

any ideas why I'm not getting sound when activating parametric EQ? Looks like the song just can't start..
Done the steps in tutorial (alsaequal.html) , running v6.8 / 100 / Kernel 5.15.36-MIN-NOGRAPH-EUP+ , not working with two USB DACs.

Funny thing is that I'm getting sound when I activate graphic EQ (just the quality goes down a LOT), but I can't access it, because my command shell is always hidden.. (Or where can I access it?)

Yes, it seems to be a bug... to which I can't find a solution, so I will most likely remove the use of alsaequal from the options.

I tried with 3 different SD cards, including the one on which V6.2 was.

Image has been installed with Etcher, I also tried RaspberryPi imager.

I just tried it on two rpi4s with different rev. and it works on both...

Where did you install etcher? did you try updating it?

yes, I installed latest version to be sure (v1.7.9)

I don't have previous version of gento, would you have a link for me to download it, so I can try if this one is working ?

immediately, but in your case the hotspot started.

is it connected to a lan?
if you use wifi you should configure it by connecting to the hotspot...
