Popular Post firedog
Active speakers are superior to the equivalent non active model, even if Class D. Basically every company that makes an active and non-active version of the same speaker will tell you that. Having perfect match between drivers and speakers, and eliminating crossovers makes all the difference. Traditional passive design is simply inferior. I generally like his way of analyzing hifi topics in a more scientific way. Scientific? Really? I suggest you look up the word so you know what it means before you use it the next time. 4est 1 Main listening (small home office): Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments. (Besides, isn't English a Germanic language?) It was a bad choice of words in the first place. I was just trying to be nice by suggesting "Germanic". English is a Germanic language, but it's sort of a distant cousin and the accent certainly isn't Germanic. (Think how many English speakers have trouble with gutturals as in "Bach"). Dutch and German accents aren't the same, but you could classify the Dutch accent as Germanic, since Dutch is most definitely a Germanic language.
