LEDs and Noise

The title of the thread is misleading.

 

Modern LEDs are not noisy, and can even be used as low noise voltage references.

They are discussing here, LEDs being used for replacement house etc.lighting , when being driven by cheap and nasty  electronics, usually directly from the local A.C. mains supply.

I completely agree. If something is noisy it is the power supplies.  I have installed many different LED versions in my house and none of them had any negative influence on my audio system

Noise from LEDS I would think come from the transformer or a ballast or the LED driver or even the method used to dim a led.
