Rip DVD-A on Mac

I must be dumb. I can't figure out how to use it on Mac version. I opened the app, popped in the DVD-A disc in SuperDrive. DVD-A Explorer could not open the files on disc. What am I doing wrong?

Do I Have to use Ripit to rip the DVD before DVD-A Explorer will see it? Please help!

Hi

With Windows PCs , DVD Audio Explorer works directly with either the DVD-A or "mounted".iso (disc image)You click on the Audio TS file.

I understand that there are a few issues when using the program with Macs.This has been discussed previously.

Chris Connaker may be able to give advice about your problem.

Hi Alex!

 

You are right, ripping DVD-Audio on a Mac is almost impossible. I have being a Mac user all my life and have to go to PC/Windows/DVD Audio Explorer to get the HD tracks from the DVD-Audio media.

 

Then I need a Mac/PC compatible hard drive, or a USB memory stick to move the tracks to the Mac music library drive, etc. It is a boring process.

DVD-Audio Explorer 2008.04.16 (Beta 1) works fine on Mac with OSX 10.5.8

That's the version I tried. It won't allow me to import the disc to rip.
