Sound Galleries room at Munich is limited by their speakers IMO. This was my impression from this morning.

Some of the rooms I liked today ...

 

Absolare - Fantastic sound

 

VAC - Huge system, so clear

 

Baach SP - Incredible 3D sound stage.

Has to be experienced to be believed

 

Marten Room - these guys actually played music.

Pure Audio Project needs to be heard if you are an Open Baffle fan. Unfortunately they have been shoved into a corner in Hall 1.

The CH Precision room had a nice demo of a Japanese room treatment.  The demo was completely disturbed by the nearby room.

The Beast Switzerland 

One of the best rooms for me.  No DSP, no room treatments, nothing.   Absolare amps. Breathtaking sound.

What was interesting was the that new pad like driver in the middle - works from 170 Hz to 30KHz.  One of the real innovations at the Munich show.

surprisingly no BMW at the show.

T+A gear has tank like build quality.

These guys make some serious gear.

 

 

Their DAC is their most light weight component!

Really wanted to hear the Bricasti but Damon Gramont said that they just can't get a slot.  Sadly only a passive / head phone only display.

 

Having met and talked to Damon I have to say my interest in Bricasti has only grown.

These baby Raidhos sounded like they were ten feet tall.  Only small in size. Big sound.

Two rooms I liked had the Total DAC -  Engstrom and Absolare.
