I run my ISO Regen with a Ghent split USB cable powered with a clean 5v and then another clean 5v into the DC input. There is a clear SQ improvement this way.

I did 5 months ago.But with sclk ex clocked sparky and singxer, the non clocked iso regen make sq down.

Well reclock the ISO regen then. Sounds much better now. For me the ISO regen after the jcat USB femto didn't improve sq, still sounded lean. Jcat on its alone sounded more balanced.

With the neutron star 2 the sound is balanced nicely but with much better resolution and detail all over the place.

i think the crystek 575 shouldn't be used at the end of the chain, sound is unbalanced.

in my chain the biggest impact: clocking singxer f1,but clocking sparky system, usb, usbridge each wery nice step up!!!!!!!!!

I like your tweeter,i have the same:D

Here is my vote for your test.

Over here, 5 Sigma 11 lpses, 3 with these Chinese regulator boards and two with the original amb.org sigma 11s, power most everything including 2 lps-1s, a 24 pin molex for the motherboard and lots of lt3045s.

You can get 3 in a box as well.

Here's a screenshot of my P5 web dashboard:

Since I don't have the amp on there, you'll see I'm only using ~87W. What's also interesting is that even though this dedicated circuit is all of 5 feet from its breaker on the main panel, the input THD is at 3.8%. In fact, it's fluctuating around 4%. And this is before the Texas AC season goes into full swing.

My point is that even with a dedicated circuit, the noise on the line isn't greatly diminished, which may be because it's coming in off the main power feed from the city.

Whatever the reason, I really dig the 0.1% THD on the regenerator's output!

4% Around 10pm?

Let's get some data from others who, like you, have custom servers with sCLK-EX mods. I know @Johnseye and @mozes have tried tX-USBultra's after their custom sCLK-ed servers. What have you guys found?

Any others?

my custom server : Sparky sbc, clocked sclk ex, system and usb chip ,singxer f1 also with sclk ex .

between sparky and singxer like isoR,tx usb ultra, usbridge ,make SQ worse or similar,no better.

Also upsampling more digi taste vs. Nos.

I did.  An ASRock Z270M-ITX/ac.  SOtM modified the system and LAN clocks, same as my last board, but they also changed out 8 capacitors with this one.

They also changed my sCLK.  Unfortunately the system frequency was different.  19.2 on the old board and 24 on the new one.  It would have been nice to swap back and forth for a more current comparison, but I'll just have to go by memory.

One thing to note is that those RF cables are finicky.  I had several that didn't work for some reason or another when they worked fine on the old board.  They were the shorter ones.  I'm going to have to buy some new ones and see if they work or if there's some other cause.

Can you explain why lan clock are changed vs usb clock?

This is a great mobo . I use it since 6 month and love it in term of sq it is very quiet. My local audio friends here have all converted to this mobo !

quick assembled yesterday for test, like 12v pico psu-sps500 for mobo, other simple  smps 12v feed cpu and ssd.

sound great!!!analogy, relaxed, big stage.really promising.Still sclk ex clocked sparky with powerstor u cap psu sound better, but not far.

I waiting some LT boards and prepare some clocked sotm usb ……..

You could power Singxer F1 with battery-powered LT3045 (with 5V output) and it's only 200 RMB

https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=565126246341

To feed Singxer F1 with an external power source, you could try some USB cables that are similar to the ones linked below

One leg for data and then another leg for power.

this battery sound crap.i have 6pcs with lt1963.pure nesscap with relay sound much better

A question regarding LPS-1.2. Have anyone tried to feed the LPS-1.2 with a battery pack? Since LPS-1.2 is somewhat sensitive to the feeder supply IME it could be an interesting thing to try. I do have a 16.8v (6A) lithium battery pack that I could try. It is in storage at the moment so I’ll need to dig it out. It would be helpful if someone knows if it is worth a persue or not?

im trialed with 12v lithium ion  20000mah ,very good sounding!but not the best

So in your opinion ultracaps powering LPS-1.2 (with ultracaps) is the best solution so far? ISO Regen (feeding BluWave board) do like my  Balanced AC-AC ps>Sigma 11>MS-HPULN>LT3045 1A LPSU solution, so LPS-1.2 might like a similar solution too (but without LT3045 1A ofcourse since it requires ~36w at the input).

iso regen feeding bluwave think not so good.better you use independent power both(I tested with singxer).  Sigma 11 arrive soon,i hope  better than lt1084 board. If Sparky usb and auralic mini similar sq(don't know),then x10sba mobo big jump in SQ.

ucaps powering lps1.2 insane category.....
