One and a half
There are known flaws, known by people who aren't ignorant, hence the various devices out to fix those flaws. sandyk is taking about these and is far from ignorant. This isn't saying that there aren't advantages to using USB, nor that you cannot get great results with it, but you have to be careful about implementation and system interconnect. The "everything is already perfect" is what is an ignorant viewpoint. And to add to "everything is already perfect", "bits are bits anyway, so what's the fuss about." Too many gadgets in computer audio! I read in multiple places that you can use both Intona + W4S, so I guess if I get one first I can always add another. I am not keen on using W4s because it requires PS and it seems LPS works best so then I would need to find another device and plug The intona seems very easy to use, just plug and go. I am using plain MacAir with nothing that isolates it from DAC, so I gather the Intona with galvanic isolation works best to completely isolate the computer noise from the DAC. But presumably the reclocking of W4S also helps?! That is despite having some reclocking in the Intona already ? There’s a new Intona being worked on right now. No idea when it will be released though. asdf1000 and Chopin75 1 1 AS Profile Equipment List Say NO to MQA Link to comment
