add to library

I downloaded 14 songs. I placed them into my music file folder and then did add to library. I can't see them. What am I doing wrong?

I'd love to help but you're not giving me much information to go on. What type of files, what operating system, what playback software, etc...

MAC Mini OS > itunes

 

download from HD Tracks (24/96) to desktop. Then dragged it to the music file location. I can see it there but how do i get it so I can see it in itunes?

Since it's 24/96 I'll assume you need to convert the FLAC file to AIFF or WAV or some other format that iTunes can read. Use the Max program to accomplish this. The following article/video will show you how to do this. The video converts WAV to AIFF, but it works the same for FLAC to AIFF.

How can I pause the video? I don't see any controls..

Click the play button on the lower left.

Where did you drag the files to, a Finder (Mac) / Explorer (Windows) window or into an iTunes window? iTunes only adds files dragged to it's own window to the library, it doesn't scan the Music folder.

Thanks for all the help. I got them converted using Max and it all worked.

 

now if I could only find more 24/96 music that excites me...
