Superdad
Orrin Keepnews was GREAT! I have spent countless hours lost in the magic of the wonderful music preserved on Riverside records. While not usually though of as an "audiophile" label, many of the early Riverside productions equal or exceed what I have experienced from the finest Blue Note releases. Riverside under Mr. Keepnews also got into some experimental areas. I have a Riverside LP that plays from the inside to the outside! But it is mostly a recording of freight trains! I hope Mr. Keepnews rests in peace while his legacy lives on for another century. UpTone Audio LLC Link to comment
