davide256
I'm not a fan of NAS's because my limited trial of a home NAS showed SATA attached drive sounded better. However with the sound improvements I've gotten using battery power with SATA drives it occurs to me that the NAS AC power converter might be why I didn't like NAS attached media. Has anyone played with DC powered NAS as media source? I tried web searches and didn't come up with candidates that had GigE and DLNA support. Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment
jtwrace
I certainly don't hear any difference between them. At first I thought NAS sounded better but that's purely subjective. If you hear a difference then there could be something on the ethernet. Maybe one of those super expensive filters could be used.
