I wonder what they have done to improve it and how much it has actually improved. I doubt it is worth the upgrade, at least from a financial position of selling my original at a huge loss in order to buy the new improved one at full pop. Link to comment

It's not necessarily as improved as much as it's simply the PCIe (i.e higher throughput, smaller footprint) version. It's not really intended as an upgrade; it's for a different bus.
