HiFiInsider
This DAC has been around for many many years. Is it still a good buy or should I look at Mytek or others? Are there any differences between the current one vs. one a few years old? http://www.youtube.com/hifiguy528/videos Link to comment

HiFiInsider
Thanks for the heads up Chris. I don't think I need all the features of the HDR. Is the $999 DAC 1 the same in sound quality as the pricier models? http://www.youtube.com/hifiguy528/videos Link to comment
Cortes
I answered you at headfi. I'll be here more specific... I don't think the Benchmark DAC1, as the Lavry DA10, has impressed ever someone in spite of the glowing reviews. A thread on sub-par DACS would be so useful... At a similar price point the Havana DAC or Eastern Minidac are miles ahead. Link to comment
HiFiInsider
I am also eyeing the Mytek Stereo 96 DAC at the same price. However, that's been around for awhile too. http://www.youtube.com/hifiguy528/videos Link to comment
