I, like others here, am interested in SSDs and prices and I think some of you may appreciate this info.

B&H Photo and Video, a vendor who has never once given me a problem is currently selling Crucial MX500 4TB SSDs for $219.99 each. That's ~$200 less than other brands drives and ~$800 less than places like PC-Pitstop are selling the exact same SSD for.

I used to be a Samsung fanboy until I had a slew of Samsung 870 Evo drives fail on me at not a year and a half into light use. However, to Samsungs credit, they are replacing each and every one with a new drive and the RMA process was painless. I have no idea if the replacement drives will last longer. They do have a 5 year warranty.

 

The Crucial drives do have a nice feature set also

Amazon and Best Buy have the same prices as well.  Must be a Crucial sale going on, not bad for 4TB, about $30 bucks less expensive than Samsung.

I noticed PC-Pitstop drastically reduced the price of their SSDs as well, but are still more expensive than every other place I can find.
