bodiebill
I am now playing native DSD128 via an AES/EBU 110 Ohm digital cable. I did not know this was possible? I was under the impression that PCM192 / DSD64 DoP was the maximum. The DAC (Gustard A26) confirms that it receives native DSD128 and plays it flawlessly. Can anyone replicate this? audio system Link to comment
m.i.c.k.e.y
My Singxer SU-6 DDC could send DXD and DSD128 DoP via SPDIF and AES/EBU as well. Link to comment
Norton
Fairly sure I used to be able to get my Bryston BDP1 (as Roon RAAT) to output dsd128 via AES to Resonessence DAC. But this would have been DoP though. Link to comment
bodiebill
Thanks. It seems that the only difference in my case is that I am playing native DSD128 from a Topping M50 SD card player. There are three settings on the M50: DoP, D2P and native. If I set it to DoP there is ony noise. D2P (DSD to PCM) works well. Native also works well, as described above. audio system Link to comment
