The “workaround” it to use HQPlayer OS instead that runs NAA too.

Once booted you can stop and disable hqplayerd and NAA will run without problems, this is possible as HQPe OS can mangage two Ethernet ports

What I did discover is that rebooting the NAA pc (fitlet2) fixes it and have confirmed that twice….

Dac must be powered on for first, then power on NAA and finally power on HQPlayer

You need first to login as root (connect a monitor and keyboard)

create then a new userid/password of your choice

useradd xxxx then enter

passwd xxxx then enter

type password, hit enter, retype password, hit enter

Now you can ssd with Putty … but which is the goal to ssd a NAA?

NAA OS shouldn’t have any password for root … are you sure you’re running NAA OS?

That’s the key !!!

you need to use terminal with monitor and keyboard connected to the device running NAA OS to login as root and to create the new user

You cannot use Putty as root ….

Try to work as root

once logged in with the new user type first

su root

then set Alsa as you like and try to use alsactl store, it should work

Maybe it simply cannot boot from microSD. My Intel Nuc for example has a microSD card slot but it cannot boot from it, just from usb
