The next gen Ryzen will be on a different socket and will no longer have pins.... I am using JRiver 28 and so far have not measured noise from my system. If you plan to upgrade your chain any further in future I's skip a few steps as the total investment gets high enough real soon. Could be do to differences in MB's and how they are constructed rather than the CPU. Using JRiver 31. One client is a mini- PC with 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD and a Ryzen APU.
