MCK3NNA
Hello! Thank you for the two articles. I have been searching desperately for ages for a convenient solution to my music problem. Actually, I use MusicBee on my Windows PC, through which I listen in WASAPI Exclusive Mode via my small FiiO DAC and my DT 990. Now I would like to maintain my music on the road. In other words: put songs in and out of playlists, rate songs, like songs. If the music on the mobile phone is not loss-free, I wouldn't care, as long as I can still play the music on the PC and on the MacBook (next purchase) in Exclusive and bitperfect mode. I recently tried iTunes and Apple Music, which scored points for its convenience and modern UI, but unfortunately is unusable because you can't get the signal out of iTunes bitperfectly and exclusively in either Windows or MacOS (And it deleted my playlists more than one). This leaves only Roon and Audirvana (Plus or Studio) to play the sound reasonably on Windows AND MacOS (Maybe Library-Sync via my Synology). But again: how do I maintain my playlists on the road? (Preferably via streaming, without me having to buy a 1TB iPhone.) I thought I had finally found a solution with VOX, but their Windows app is basically just a simple player (coded in Electron [build on chromium] and have more of a website-functionality than a native application vor an OS with possibilities to read and write in files etc.) and not a library software as I know it from MusicBee. And the signal in Windows is also not bitperfect and exclusive. I'm beginning to despair. I just want to have my music with me everywhere in sync and play it back on the PC/MacBook without loss.
