Paul R
I have a handful or two of Hires disks here that I would very much like to get into iTunes, but have not exactly figured out how to do that yet. Specifically, Barry's _Lift_ album on DVD plays great on the DVD players and on the computer's with DVD. But I don't know how to RIP that into a file I can import into iTunes, since iTunes won't recognize the disk and DVD Player is automatically started to do the job. I was thinking of buying one of those minidisk recorders that used to be popular, or finding a digital tape recorder with a digital input... unless there is a better way. -Paul Anyone who considers protocol unimportant has never dealt with a cat DAC. Paul R
I have managed to get exactly zero success with this so far. Last try was to transcode it playing out of VLC, which sort of worked, but the quality was awful. (Transcoded to raw FLAC files, and used XLD to translate them to AIFF files.) -Paul Anyone who considers protocol unimportant has never dealt with a cat DAC. Robert A. Heinlein Link to comment
