The first device I have seen with UAC3 and DSD 1024

And how exactly was that rate tested? I heard that they are no longer using an Amanero based solution in their new DACS. So maybe it's XMOS?

I have no idea, I jut read the specs after reading about it on Head-Fi...

I have asked this question of DAC manufacturers many times and the answer is always comical.

I am not a DAC manufacturer...

 

 

I have a Signature Rendu SE Optical, and am considering a Sonic Transporter i9 optical with Roon and HQPlayer embedded to replace my Mac Mini. You're telling me that this combo, and what else, will match the Extreme?

 

I should add, I am 50/50 on this. The Signature Rendu optical into my DAC via USB beats the Roon Bridge input direct on the DAC. That surprised me.
