0 Dasign
Sem 115, I’ve been through this process previously and the Sonore path is the one who will provide best sound. You will have to put much more money in an audiophile-grade PC environment and eventually end up using an OpticalModule/OpticalRendu combo for best sound achievement ( like I ended up doing). sem115 1 Roon/Tidal > Win 10 PC > Asus RT-N66 U router > Furutech LAN 7 cable > opticalModule/LPS-1.2> opticalRendu/Ultra PS > Wireworld Platinum 7 USB > Bechmark DAC 3 HGC > Acoustic Zen Absolute XLR interconnect > Classé Audio CA-M600 Monoblocs > Acoustic Zen Absolute bi-wired speaker cables > Rebuilt Apogee Duetta Signature ribbon speakers. Is your point that the OpticalRendu was directly compared with the JCAT USB (now USB Ex), or that the OR costs less than building a server with a JCAT? Link to comment
