Ralf11 Posted August 4, 2019 Share Posted August 4, 2019 I think we need to distinguish between two categories of spoofs in audio - indeed, two different types of errors in thinking. One - the easiest to deal with - is the Qualitative Error. This is BW that is impossible, and contrary to physical law. It can therefore be dismissed out of hand (except by a lunatic). The Second is the Quantitative Error. This is something that is possible or conceivable as an effect on SQ, no matter how unlikely. But it is not impossible. And debunking it thoroughly requires testing. Link to comment
