Is anyone using the Zenith strictly as a Roon core device connected via the “streamer” LAN output to a separate Roon endpoint (Rendu, SOtM, etc.)? 

 

Having in mind the observations made by @The Computer Audiophile that essentially all Roon core servers sound more or less the same if a proper Roon endpoint is used (as per Roon’s recommendation), I wonder if the Zenith mk2 would be a noticable and worthy improvement over a dedicated lightweight Roon server (say a SonicTransporter i5) with a proper Roon endpoint device like the dCS Network Bridge?
