Congrats on owning the 3.7i's!  You have some truly magical speakers there. I wanted them SO badly, but at the end, my room came up a bit short. Now, let's talk amps. This is no simple task.

Nothing wrong with snow and cold, it kills bugs and germs! I hope we have a respectably snowy and reasonably cold winter coming here in Michigan this year.

Planar speakers act like near line sources and such things are hard to beat in certain respects.  I have to admit that if anyone here gives me a set of Sonus Faber Aida's I will dump the 3.7i's right away.

 

BTW George - what about the Carver Amazing & Eminent Technology speakers?

I'm right there with you. Anyone willing to give me a pair of of Sonus Faber Aida's, or the Carver Amazing Line Source speakers will earn my eternal gratitude!
