edtsui
I have just downloaded A+3.02 and would like to try it out while retaining 2.6. What would I need to do to compare the two as well as not adversely affecting the database and playlists that I have spent a lot of time putting together? Any advice would be would be most appreciated. Link to comment
Popular Post edtsui
While it will create some problems for me since I use A+ on my iMac with a headphone most of the time and listen through my stereo system with a headless Mac mini only once in while and may have problems with the 15 days checkup, I fully understand Damien's need for regular validation. I like A+ SQ and Damien constant effort to make it a better software for all us. I hope we will all be more understanding and more appreciative of his work and his need to safeguard his legitimate interests as a software developer. I for one will continue to concentrate on listening to music through this wonderful software. Perhaps Damien can change the periodicity of validation to once a month and that should cover most of us. edtsui
Hi everybody. I am still using A+2.6.8. I have resisted to update A+ to 3.0 and above up to now because I do not believe in MQA and I do not use Quboz and Tidal. Now with version 3.5 with further improvement in sound quality, I would like to take the plunge and move on to the new version. I would appreciate advice on the following: 1. How much is the upgrade from A+ 2.6.8 to 3.5 and can I just do the update from within A+2.6.8 2. Is the update license valid for one machine? 3. Would the update affect the data management of my sizable collection of albums. I must say that I have zero problem with A+2.6.8 at the moment. Thanks in advance for assistance and advice. look&listen 1 Link to comment
