I share my experience with Embedded.

 

HQPlayer Embedded & ASDM7EC

• Ubuntu Server 18.04.2 LTS (4.18.0-25-generic)
• i7-7700K (overclocked at 5GHz)
• without CUDA

1. poly-sinc-ext2 + ASDM7EC + convolution ON: PCM 44,1 to 352,8kHz ---> SDM256 OK
2. poly-sinc-short-mp[lp] + ASDM7EC + convolution ON: PCM 44,1 to 352,8kHz ---> SDM256 OK
3. poly-sinc-xtr-mp[lp]-2s + ASDM7EC + convolution ON: PCM 44,1 to 352,8kHz ---> SDM256 OK

Is there anyone to help me test HQPDcontrol v4 for Android and iOS?
Someone who uses HQPlayer version 4.

HQPDcontrol allows you to adjust the volume within the range defined in HQPlayer.

When the "Now playing" screen is displayed, you can scroll left and right.
This opens the "HQP Settings" or "HQP Queue" screen.
On the "HQP Settings" screen is "Matrix" drop-down list.

The grey text is when Roon is playing - I cannot change these settings in HQPDControl app when Roon is playing. But I can change these setttings while Roon is playing using HQPe web browser page.

 

Hopefully this shows my issue a bit clearer.

However I still cannot change volume from your app.

 

Would be really great to be able to change matrix profiles (digital room EQ profiles) and volume from the same screen.

Hi and Happy New Year!

 

It's a bit of a problem.
Missing volume control is an error.
Unfortunately, I don't have a USBStreamer and I can't simulate (and fix) this error.
I can't switch the input in HQPlayer. An awkward situation.

Another feature request to add to HQPControl (when you have spare time).

 

Bauer cross-feed which is available on the HQPe 'Matrix' page.

 

 

 

This case can be solved within Matrix profiles.
@Miska I don't think there is an API for cross-feed control?

I will change that at some point when I manage to decide what kind of technical approach I take with those. Maybe I would extend the library functionality to include playlists inside the library data, that way they would be accessible by all clients and could be backed up along with rest of the library file. @Ales Prochazka what do you think?

 

 

Good idea.
But you're already sending the playlists in the library data. I display them on the 'Playlists' screen.
They just don't have a separate structure in XML.
