I do not matters much as pre-regulator for a lt3045. It is nice small pub. Upgrading to faster diodes, better buffer cap and better trimpod comes later.

Isolation transformers should 2x the power. Also you can’t use them for power amp’s, to many current peaks, restriction in current.

Do not use one IT for all components but one for every component. A specially those smps.

A new 5A LT3045 full blown power supply with PI output filter for my Brooklyn DAC. This will hopefully free up my two HPULN (Stammheim 3A LT3045 single ps) so I can try them out as feeder supply for LPS-1.2 and post LPS-1.2 at the same time. I will also make some experiments with LT3045 boards with a Y-split cable. I hope to see that the LT3045s could transform a DC Y-split into something as good as a single DC cable when using one LT3045 at each of the three legs.
