btlancaster24
Just wondered if there might be anyone near Lafayette,IN who would be willing to come by my apartment and help me with getting the best sound from Pure Music? I've had the software for quite a while now but haven't been able to figure out how to get the settings tweaked to sound as good as streaming from subscription service from both Spotify and TIDAL sound. Surely it's possible even though I don't have expensive equipment. It makes sense to me that if I get good sound from both Spotify and TIDAL out of my set-up it should be possible to get equal sound quality with the Pure Music software too within reason. I'd even pay someone's food and gas money if they didn't live far and could spare the time. Lafayette, IN is next to West Lafayette, IN / Purdue University Campus. ROON w/ TIDAL > iMac (21.5", Late 2013) 3.1 GHz Intel Quad Core i7 - 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 > macOS Catalina 10.15.7 > 250 Apple Flash Storage / SSD > Apple Airport Extreme > Bluesound Node 2i > Audioquest Cinnamon Digital Coax > Peachtree Audio Nova 150 > Monster HTS 1600 > Blue Jeans Speaker Cables > Vintage Klipsch Kg2 Speakers Link to comment
bobbmd
it is awful-gave it up last year compared to Audirvana 2+/Sonic Studio(for TIDAL or just stand alone Sq+/ROON-but gave it up because of $$ (my CFO especially didn't like the $/yr-i could have cared less SHE made me give it up!) for the $ Audirvana 2+ is the BEST/ROON was the best of all but Audirvana 2+ gives you the integration of iTunes library tidal and Qobuz don't even consider Pure Music Link to comment
