SOtM smS-200 unveiled at Munich Hi-End

I've tested the sms-200 v. mR in my system as well and preferred the sms-200.  I'm waiting for the Utlra though.

I'm really curious which combination will sound best given that I already have a Singxer SU-1 and microRendu powered by LPS-1.  I did find the sMS-200 to sound better than the microRendu.

Is there going to be a dX-USB Ultra?

You can control the sMS-200 Ultra through a laptop but will rarely have to do so once setup. 

 

The sMS-200 can act as a Roon Endpoint. You can then control via your laptop, phone, or tablet. 

 

No, you don't need the master clock connector unless you want to add an external master clock. 

 

You are about to be in for a real treat. The sound quality will massively improve.

I plan to get both dX-USB Ultra and sMS-200 Utlra, but it may be hard to compare to @austinpop's modded sMS-200 because I'm most likely getting the 12V version.

No, I mean dX-USB Ultra.  It's on their website under the old dX-USB; you can add the new clock.
