HighFidelity
Is there a good program to eliminate duplicate music files? I don't mind paying for the program if necessary. Link to comment
StephenJK
dBpoweramp have (had?) a program that would supposedly do that and I bought it for that very reason. It didn't work, at least not for me. I ended up using JRiver > Files and then sorting by name. On delete I would select "remove from disc". Link to comment

Audio_ELF
try https://www.dbpoweramp.com/perfecttunes.htm The free version will allow you to scan for duplicates but only the paid for version allows deletions. Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
